HALFORDS encountered a mixed weekend with an early Edwards of Stratford Cup exit but the goals flooded in for the club's second string.

Quinton's 3-2 knockout triumph on the road arrived courtesy of goals from Jim Bunn, Sean McKendry and Chris Evans with Jim Burke and Steve Ordidge's efforts in vain for Athletic.

Dane Wood and Adam Taylor both found the net four times as Park Tavern's defence took a pounding in a 14-1 Cutler Division Two scoreline.

Mark Thomas wasn't far behind with a hat-trick in the scoring stakes as the winners moved a point clear at the summit.

A solitary Journal Premier Division clash brought a 2-0 win for Badsey United at Southam where Martin Sche-mbri and Scott Sutherland were on target.

Ryan Scott bagged a treble for Littleton in a 6-2 Herald Division One success at Henley, while section leaders Bidford had goals from Nick Higginson and Jake Print to thank for a 2-0 Knockout Cup replay victory against FISSC Reserves.
