KINGSLEY College's under 19 boys basketball team have been crowned West Midlands champions.
The Woodrow Drive School's hoop shooters beat sqauds from Newcasle-under-Lyme, Stafford and Stoke before taking on Bromsgrove School and winning in the final.
The team including Oli Magnusson, David Kirkham, Dean Wickett, Mark Andrews, Jon-Paul Ling, James Batchelor, Jamie Allen, James Houghton, Martin Youg, Mike Young and Adam Powell. will be training for national glory as they bid to become English champions next year.
Adding to the college's basketball achievements the year nine boys team are playing Aston Manor in the New Year also in the finals of the West Midlands championship.
The year nine team include Paul Bessent, Blaine Sanders, Jarrad Colvin, Harry Johnson, Anthony Baker and Harpreet Braich .
Meanwhile, the under 16 boys, under 19 girls, and under 15 girls were all runners up in the West Midlands Basketball champioships.
