TWO teenage Alcester Grammar School pupils have been rewarded for more than a decade of dedication to their sport.
Robert Brown, 16 and an Ben Holdstock, 15, both achieved black belts in judo on Saturday, December 11.
Both Robert and Ben have been training at the Oakenshaw Judo Club for more than ten years and have had to progress through all the gradings to achieve their goal.
Club spokesman Patricia Hill said: "Both Ben and Robert will go on to help train the youngsters at the club and will also do their instructorship when they turn 18."
The club has more than 20 students on its books and anyone who would like to join should call 07769 893 584.
