THIS year's Evening News Senior Citizens Film Show proved a roaring success at Odeon Cinema in Foregate Street, Worcester.
Older readers enjoyed mince pies, courtesy of Greggs, together with the odd glass of sherry, while watching free of charge the romantic blockbuster Love Actually starring Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Emma Thompson and Colin Firth.
The film show is a long-standing tradition at the Evening News and was as popular as ever this year, with hundreds of senior citizens calling to arrange tickets for our Christmas screenings in Worcester and Malvern.
Even the city's Mayor councillor Allah Ditta popped along to join the festive fun.
