A SCHOOL in Drakes Broughton, near Pershore, has received an early Christmas gift from Raynesway Construction Southern Ltd (RCS).
Teenage apprentices from the construction firm paved two small patches of grass at St Barnabas Church of England First and Middle School, which will now offer parents somewhere to stand while waiting for their children, and pupils can use the other to walk over instead of on the.
"The difference is amazing - no more corners can be cut and our parents have somewhere much more attractive to wait for their children," said headteacher Charlie Lupton.
"We really appreciate all the hard work these talented apprentices have put in for us, both recently and the last time RCS worked for us."
