MINCE pies with a taste of Tenbury Wells promise a bit of extra bite this Christmas.
Cider maker Chris King-Turner from Mahorall Farm, Nash, has come up with his own cider and apple recipe for mincemeat and the punchy filling has more than a touch of the Christmas spirit.
Tried and tested at recent farmers and similar markets the juicy seasonal pie filling is going down a storm. "Cider might not be the usual ingredient in mincemeat but it's proving very popular and we sold out in the first hour at Craven Arms farmers market," said Chris.
