TOMORROW is the last day for posting first class cards before Christmas.
With more than two billion items of mail likely to be posted this festive season, Royal Mail is warning people it is vital to stick to the deadlines - and to make sure addresses are right.
"People should always include the postcode and the sender's address to avoid disappointment," said a Royal Mail spokesman.
"Weights should also be checked to avoid underpayment, which could delay mail. Items can be weighed at any Post Office or with a simple letter weighing tool called Easyweigh, which is available free from us."
