POPULAR folk supremo Johnny Coppin has a couple of seasonal shows lined up.

Tonight, at Cheltenham Town Hall, and next week at the Huntingdon Hall in Worcester, the top singer/songwriter is following on the success of his last West Country Christmas album, with a new album, book and concert tour called A Country Christmas.

He will be playing music from his Christmas CD as well as enjoying carols and sharing stories during his show.

He was formerly with the band Decameron and now he is well-known all over the country, appearing regularly on television and radio.

He is joined by Keep the Flame in his new show, which includes members of Decameron as well as guitarist Paul Burgess and the multi-talented Mick Dolan, who will be playing violin, recorders and keyboard.
