MOTOR sport fans looking for a dose of high-octane adrenaline to kickstart the 2005 season should head to the Live Action Arena at Autosport International at the NEC between January 13 and 16.

The one-hour extravaganza, in association with Fulda Tyres and British Eurosport, is hosted by super model Jodie Kidd and Motors TV presenter Paul Musselle and promises to be one of the highlights of Europe's largest motorsport show.

Some of the biggest names on four wheels will be demonstrating their skills, and entertaining visitors in the specially constructed 5000-seater auditorium at the NEC.

One of the highlights will be the first public appearance of the A1 Grand Prix car that will form part of the event's history of motor sport display.

Rally fanatics will be treated to the sight of 1984 World champion Stig Blomqvist burning rubber in his stunning 1983 Audi Quattro while Mark Higgins will be revealing the talent that has made him one of Britain's top rally stars behind the wheel of the 1997 Ford Focus World Rally Car.

Two-time British champion Jonny Milner will also be shaking-up the Toyota Corolla in which he won the 2003 National Rally Series.

The action-packed programme includes six races against the clock featuring some of the most exciting series from the world stage from grass roots to World Championship level;.

The curtain goes up in the Live Action Arena at 2pm on Thursday, January 13 and at 1.30pm and 3pm the next day for trade visitors and MSA licence holders.

There are five performances on Saturday and Sunday at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 4.30pm (Sunday only) and 6pm (Saturday only).

The Oval Racing Spectacular will return by popular demand for two shows in the Live Action Arena at 6pm on Saturday and 4:30pm on Sunday.

Only the best formulas and competitors for Autograss, Oval and Short Circuit racing have been invited to take part in this tyre-squealing, sideways sliding adrenaline rush.
