Evesham and District Airgun League
THREE points separate the top five teams but it's the Lygon Arms and Offenham RBL who lead the way with 12 points.
The former overcame Stanton Club, who drop down to fifth, by nine points with Ian Harwood scoring 48 for the winners.
Offenham, meanwhile, had 15 points to spare against visitors Bengeworth SSC with Ady and Paul Lewis both scoring 47.
Campden RBL have moved up to third following a comfortable defeat of Badsey Rec with Bob Pitcher (49) again in fine form.
Badsey RBL boasted a quartet of shooters on the 48 mark as they easily disposed of the challenge of New Inn who were 34 shots adrift at the finish.
At the other end of the table, Nomads and Wickhamford SSC featured in the game of the week with the former edging a vital victory by a single shot with Graham Steed hitting 45 for the winners.
