A CONTRACT catering company is looking to dish up at least £2,000 to help autistic children at a Kidderminster school with a sell-out charity ball.
Valerie Hayes, who runs Carousel Catering, is organising the "black tie" evening at Areley Kings Hall, Areley Common, in the new year, complete with a supper buffet and live music by local group, Rain.
She was spurred on to raise money for Stourminster Special School after her grandson was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.
Business associates, customers and suppliers have donated prizes for a grand raffle, which will be drawn on the ball night, on January 22.
Stourminster pupils are busy making hobby horses from broomsticks, which the 180 guests can ride for some light-hearted races during the Once Upon a Time Charity gala ball.
