A KIDDERMINSTER girl's festive drawing of a robin has won an award in a national art competition.
Laura Dredge, 11, from Comberton Middle School, was the regional winner for the West Midlands in Supply Desk's Christmas Art and Design Competition 2004.
Schoolchildren across the country were asked by the teacher recruitment agency to design a card with a festive or winter theme.
Laura was presented with a professional artist's kit and a framed copy of her artwork during school assembly.
Clare Ewing, branch manager of Supply Desk in the West Midlands, said: "It's great to see so many children demonstrating their artistic talents in this way. Supply Desk works with many schools in the area and I'd like to thank both teachers and pupils for all their enthusiasm."
The agency received hundreds of entries from the region.
