THE staff at Broadway's Swan Inn have been praised by an Evesham policeman who believes they may have prevented a theft after challenging a stranger who walked into their staff quarters.
PC Paul Adams said the man walked through the staff entrance at 8.30pm last Thursday.
PC Adams said: "He was challenged by the staff working there and it appears their prompt action prevented anything being stolen at the time.
"They challenged him, which was the right thing to do. It was a commendable action."
