Police traced four payments for internet pornography to a company whose bosses were jailed for over 1,000 years in America, a jury heard.

The credit card transactions were made by John Huntley, who was arrested and his computers seized. One payment to Landslide Productions Incorporated in Texas was for downloaded photographs of child pornography and the others for adult porn, said Martin Butterworth, prosecuting at Worcester Crown Court.

In August 2001, Landslide proprietor Thomas Ready was given 1,335 years in prison and his wife Janice 14 years. The firm was fined seven million dollars.

It is alleged that Huntley accessed four porn websites in 1999 - via their agent Landslide - and titles included Lolita Girls and Japan Lolitas.

Huntley, aged 63, of Three Springs Road, Pershore, denies incitement to distribute indecent photographs of children.

Police swooped on his home on December 5, 2002, but no abusive images of children were found on his two computers, said Mr Butterworth.

Experts found a software package installed which was effective at deleting information.

But Huntley's password to Landslide was retrieved together with his name and "very significantly" a magazine called "Lolita", matching the website names.

Mr Butterworth said credit card statements revealed four payments by him to Landslide between May 1 and July 17, 1999.

The trial continues.
