HELPFUL Scouts have embarked on their annual quest to raise vital cash and ease the yuletide burden of supermarket shopping.
Children from 14 Kidderminster Scout groups will pack bags at Sainsbury's and Morrisons between now and Christmas Eve.
It is hoped the efforts will attract more than £10,000 in donations from appreciative shoppers.
Organiser, Mark Searl, said: "We will be doing weekends and the busiest nights in the run-up to Christmas. Money raised will go to the individual Scout groups to put on various activities throughout the year."
Sainsbury's is at Carpet Trades Way, Crossley Park and Morrisons, formerly Safeway, in Oxford Street.
Mr Searl said: "It is one of those things that goes down really well.
"We find, very often, the customers ask the till ladies when the kids are coming in. People are very generous."
