KIDDERMINSTER Carolians under-15s recorded a comfortable 33-5 victory over Birmingham/Solihull . Bill Bennett scored three tries with Joe Johnstone crossing the line twice. There were also four conversions.

There was a 31-7 defeat for the under-12s against Birmingham/Solihull. Outside half Sam Taylor opened the scoring with a try which he converted himself after a quick tap penalty. But Birmingham-Solihull levelled the scores before half time and added four tries and two conversions to seal the win.

The under-eights lost 40-0 and 30-10 with Jamie Williams and Tom Mayall getting tries.

The under-sevens lost three successive games to Birminham Solihull, going down 9-8, 6-5 and 9-7 despite giving a good account of themselves. Their main try scorers were Tom Ford (5), Elliot Murphy (4), Ben Pinner (3) and Thomas Kerrigan (3).

There was better news for the under-11s who walloped an under-strength Birmin-gham/Solihull 40-0. Tom Redfern contributed two tries and five conversions, while Sam Bills bagged a brace and Declan Meadows and Jonny Mockett also scored tries.

A fine solo effort from Charlie Evans was the only consolation as the under-13s lost 15-5 to Birmingham/Solihull. In a spirited performance, KCs' tackling was better, although their passing let them down again. There were good individual performances by Bill Mullins, Josh Bennett, Alex Hopkirk and Ewan Thompson in the scrum.

l Chaddesley under-sevens beat Old Sils by five tries to four before losing to Kersley by the same scoreline. The try-scorers were Shane Jonas (5), George Smith (2), Freddie Bakewell and Alistair Westwood.

The under-nines beat Old Sils 20-15 and 55-10 with Ross Westwood (5), Sam Needham (4), Louis Ellesmore (4) and Zach Walker (2) doing the damage. There was a close 13-12 win over Old Laurentians for the under-15s thanks to two Wayne Cooper tries and a Steve Smith penalty.
