Evesham Utd U-14 6
UNITED travelled to their local Midland Junior Premier League rivals on Saturday and put in an excellent all-round performance to move up to second in the table.
The Robins soaked up early pressure before starting to assert themselves in a more attacking way with David Huggins twice hitting the crossbar.
The striker enjoyed better fortune when he gave his side the lead just before half time from Jon Wein threaded pass.
In the second half Evesham took control in terms of possession and goals. Lewis Dallard rocked the City defence with a solo run and shot that he squeezed in from an impossible angle.
Huggins then added his second running on to a through ball and placing his shot past the oncoming keeper.
Dean Elsmore capped a fine individual performance with a shot from just inside the box after being fed in by Scott Andrews.
Andrews then played through Tom Miles who netted under pressure before Liam Phillips scored his first ever goal for Evesham.
