MUSIC groups from Worcestershire performed to a full house at a concert organised to raise cash for a hospice for people with life-threatening illnesses.
Close harmony vocal quartet, Razz-ma-Tazz and string musicians Selina Bella Strings, provided the entertainment at Crowle Village Hall and raised £350 for St Richard's Hospice, which provides care for cancer patients and people with other serious conditions.
The charity, based in Rose Hill, near Worcester City Centre, is currently campaigning to raise more than £5.25m to build a new hospice, in Wildwood Drive, Spetchley, Worcester.
The new hospice will house all the services provided by the current one, plus 15 specialist, palliative care beds - the first of their kind in South Worcestershire.
Jenny Young, chairman of St Richard's Hospice Governors, thanked everybody for their hard work in staging the evening, which took place on Saturday, December 4.
