A MISSING man who sparked a police search amid fears for his safety may be alive and well and living in Cardiff, say detectives.
Police are searching the Welsh capital for Einstein Ellis (right) who turned up for work at Ottakars bookshop, in The Shambles, on Saturday, November 20, but has not been seen him since.
The last known person to speak to the 36-year-old, of Barbourne Road, Worcester, was his mother, by telephone from her home in Hereford, three days later.
Mr Ellis, who colleagues say is upset due to problems in his home life, was reported missing by his sister.
Now officers believe he may be living in Cardiff or Oxford.
Mr Ellis, who changed his first name to Einstein some years ago, is described as white, 6ft tall, of heavy build, clean-shaven with cropped brown hair, with blue eyes and glasses.
