CHADDESLEY go into the mid season break in buoyant mood despite concluding the first half of the season with a 6-1 defeat at leaders West Bromwich.
The table-toppers proved too strong for Corbett and Oliver Owen Smith's consolation was the visitors' only reward.
The match was blighted by controversy as one of the Chaddesley players left the pitch rather than being subjected to foul-mouthed abuse from an opponent.
John Wynn played exceptionally well in goal while Owen Smith battled impressivley and Sam Boden again worked tirelessly. Chaddesley's next game is on January 15th when they entertain Newtown, keen to erase the memory of an early season trouncing.
Reflecting on the season so far Boden said: "Four games in with the goal difference at 2-38 this was looking like a long season.
"But we have showed great character to turn ourselves into a mid-table side and I will be disappointed if we finish lower than seventh."
