Camp Hill 0, Badsey Ladies 2

IN their final game before Chri-stmas, Badsey produced a good solid team performance to take the points on a bright sunny morning in Birmingham.

They dominated the match from the start giving Camp Hill little time to settle into their game.

Good distribution from Karen Moore and player of the match Jane Rickey provided several chances for the lively forwards, but they had to wait until midway through the half for the breakthrough.

Laura Moore, who had an excellent game, found herself with the ball in the circle and managed to slip the ball through for the unmarked Karen Robinson to steer the ball into the net.

The visitors went further ahead before half-time when a lovely pass from Robinson found Claire Jones who made no mistake.

In the second half, the home team organised their defence much better but Badsey still had the majority of the play. However, despite their efforts, they failed to increase their lead as a result of bad luck and good defending.

This win leaves Badsey in mid-table at the Christmas break and in a positive frame of mind for when Worcestershire Division Two League action resumes at the end of January.
