DROITWICH Dolphins' swimmers produced some fine individual performances in the latest round of the West Midlands Speedo League on Sunday.
The Dolphins found it tough going against teams from Bedfordshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire at home, but impressive performances by individual swimmers gave them plenty to cheer about.
Ben Rimmington finished in second place in the under-11s breaststroke race, while Sophie Cave was runner-up in the girls' event.
Sam Fowles came second in the under-15s breastroke, while Fiona Watt was runner-up in the freestyle event.
Joe Hobbis was in excellent form as he finished second in the men's open backstroke and club captain Rachel Roberts just missed out on first place in the ladies' breastroke.
