ANIMAL lovers will not be able to resist the loveable furry friends looking for a good home this Christmas.

The Danemere Animal Rescue Centre, in Tibberton, has a host of cats, dogs, ferrets and rabbits, which may make the perfect pet.

"In particular we have a lot of cats, I don't know why, but at the moment we are not in the position where we can take anymore," explained the centre's spokesman Dave Lannie.

"Most of them are run of the mill, domestic moggies, of all colours. Most of them are adults but we do have a few kittens too."

Anyone interested in giving a home to one of the many animals is invited to visit the centre between 11am and 4pm, Thursday to Sunday. All animals are neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and anyone looking to re-home an animal would be subject to a home check.

The Common Farm centre is also looking for donations of toys, blankets and food to give to the furry friends who do not find a new home in time for Christmas. For further details call Dave on 01905 345655.
