ON November 11, we met for the AGM, together with the cookery and craft show. The judges congratulated members on their entries.

Marion gave a summary of our activities during the past year, not forgetting to mention members unable to be present.

Audrey read the minutes, as Greta had a prior engagement, followed by the treasurer's report.

Jill talked of her plans for the 2005 programme, with a special mention for January, the theme of which will be red.

The WI adviser Janet Clemas joined us, bringing county items, including diaries and tea towels for us to purchase.

We were pleased when our president Marion agreed to continue in office for a further year and the new committee was formed. The winner of the handicraft section of the show was Joan Lang and the winner of the produce section was Mary Mullen. Mary also had the highest number of points for the monthly competition. But the overall winner was Joan Lang.

Several raffle prizes were distributed before our evening drew to a close.
