YOUR report on Tuesday, December 7, about the charity Santas being abused by drivers comes as no surprise.
An increasing number of our drivers want to be able to drive as fast as they like, where they like, park anywhere, and close down bus and cycle lanes.
Small wonder that the introduction of additional speed cameras causes quiet rejoicing among non-drivers.
Incidentally, I was relieved to learn who those Santas were - I had feared they were Fathers-For-Justice, on the way to scale the walls of the Cathedral.
