THE November meeting was very successful, serving to introduce several new faces to the proceedings - all members had been encouraged to bring a friend. The guest demonstrator Liz Nicholson was very relaxed and entertaining as she embarked on her programme entitled Christmas and she created lovely arrangements using choice blooms and foliage in most attractive containers. Her mother was her accomplished assistant in her presentation. It certainly made one long to be a winner in the raffle where the prizes were these colourful delights.
Ruth Bottomley, chairman, spoke for us all in her expression of thanks to Liz.
Flower of the month was the iris brought by Virginia Davis. Each member was given a greetings card specially made by Sue Pugh to present to the friend they had brought.
