THE Kingfishers had the chance to get some Christmas shopping in on Saturday as their cup tie against Worcester Wanderers was called off.
Worcester's league commitments meant they were unable to fulfil the scheduled fixture which has now been re-arranged for Saturday, December 18.
l The seconds kept up their victorious streak in the Merit League with another win this time claiming the spoils against Stourport 34-0.
The seconds now sit at the top of the league thanks to Trevor Hirons opening the scoring with an unconverted try before he was joined on the score sheet by Lee Cross (3) and Edwin Grey (2) and Trevor Pennington added two conversions.
Martin Hill was man of the match.
