ALVECHURCH boss Peter Frain branded his side "disgraceful" after losing to Barwell on their travels.
The single goal from Craig Noble on 51 minutes was enough to settle the midtable encounter.
Church boss Peter Frain said: "I'm quite happy to heap praise on the lads when they deserve it but Saturday was totally unacceptable.
"It's only the second time this season but again I must apologise to the travelling supporters for the way played.
"Strikers Brett Fitzpatrick and Keith Rostill may have well not been there on Saturday and the two wingbacks might have done better in the stand it was a complete waste of time.
"It just wasn't good enough and we have to start back at the drawing board and looking to recruit more players again.
"The attitude of the lads was disgraceful."
Despite the 'Church boss' rant he believes his team will bounce back again and was looking to for last night's encounter in the Alliance League Cup away at Oldbury United.
Frain believes a good cup run will be the right injection to keep Alvechurch's season alive.
