EVENING News weatherman Paul Damari is warning people to wrap up warm tonight with temperatures set to plummet.
"There will be extreme frost as ground temperatures go down to -5 degrees Celsius," said Paul.
"It's going to be pretty chilly for outdoor Children In Need activities and there will be pockets of black ice with rain and sleet, although the snow won't touch us in Worcestershire."
Milder weather is forecast to return by the end of the weekend.
