SMOKING in bars has been banned for about five years now in California.
There was some concern at first that business would be adversely affected. This proved not to be the case and I can tell you that life is a lot more pleasant without the smoke.
Many bars now have outdoor patios for the smokers with portable heaters available for the cooler months.
