GOAL hero Drewe Broughton has urged his Kidderminster Harriers' team-mates to treat their last 10 Division Three games as must-win.

The recalled Broughton admitted promotion-chasing Harriers seemed to need a half-time telling-off to really motivate themselves.

Their displays in the second 45 minutes have often stood out and Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury was a prime example.

Broughton grabbed two goals in six second-half minutes after Ian Britton's men had fallen two goals behind early on.

Harriers also gained Saturday's fine 2-0 win at Cambridge United with two headers following the interval.

They need a victory from Saturday's game at home to Swansea who are desperate for points at the bottom.

Broughton confessed: "It's like we need a kick up the behind to really motivate ourselves which must be frustrating for the fans and certainly the manager.

"He was obviously very disappointed with the two goals. For a manager, to be 2-0 down within 15 minutes must kick your game plan into touch.

"We are getting to the stage of the season with 10 games left where we have to be looking to win virtually every game to guarantee the play-offs. They are all must-win games now."

Broughton, a replacement for the injured Bo Henriksen, also cleared up a controversial incident from the derby clash when referee Ray Olivier awarded a penalty.

But the official reversed his decision after a huge protest from Shrewsbury players and consulting his assistant referee.

The competitive forward revealed it was Harriers' defender Wes Morgan who handled the ball.

He continued: "Our comeback just shows the character we have in this team but it's frustrating because we have had enough chances to win.

"I don't think I've had two easier goals for Kidderminster. Hats off to Andy Bishop as it was all his work."

Henriksen is bidding to be fit for the Swansea clash after struggling with a hamstring niggle.

Dean Bennett (hamstring) and Kenny Coleman (stomach), who will be released by Wolves at the end of the season, are set to miss out.

Harriers, one point away from the play-offs in ninth, head to Lincoln on Tuesday (7.45pm) but John Melligan is expected to be absent due to Republic of Ireland U-21s duty.
