FIVE Kidderminster Harriers Ladies stars beat the French in their own backyard at the Northern Paris Cup.
Vicky Roberts, Rachel Baldwin, Sam Rogers, Emma Jones and Lynsey Pollard joined 12 players from Shrewsbury rivals TNS Ladies.
TNS/Harriers fought off opposition from six French sides and a touring Hungarian team.
They scored 21 goals without conceding any as the English side blazed their way to the final.
But they had a tougher test in the final against ACBB, of France, contesting a tense 0-0 draw.
But the mixed team carried home the trophy by holding their nerve in a 4-2 penalty shoot-out success.
All five women were regulars in the Harriers side that finished in the lower reaches of the West Midlands League Premier Division.
