POWICK Nomads had a formidable night in the Malvern Gazette Men's Skittles League and set a new alley record on the Cross Keys.
The Nomads downed 386 pins against home side Kuman Avago in division one, winning the match by a massive 61 pins.
In cracking form for the Nomads were Ted Digger with 55, Paul Trussler 49, Keith Knight 48, Kevin Ingram 43 and Alan Tandy with 41. Peter Daffin top-scored for Kuman Avago with 39 pins.
The previous alley record was 378, recorded by the Upstarts.
