A FORMER community police officer who worked in Malvern for many years has died.
Colin Wishart, 56, of Leigh, passed away at home after losing a fight against cancer on October 31.
His work in Malvern included helping to set up the Neighbourhood Watch, Shop Watch and Pub Watch schemes.
His funeral on Monday at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Malvern, was attended by Insp Neville Sheldrick on behalf of Malvern Police. Friends, family and colleagues were also present.
Mr Wishart leaves a wife Caroline, and sons Richard and Stuart.
