MALVERN Ladies returned to Kidderminster League duty on Sunday and beat lowly Droitwich 7-1 at Langland Stadium.

MALVERN LADIES 7, DROITWICH SPA LADIES 1

Malvern nearly scored in the first minute with Emily Prosser hitting a powerful shot which was well saved by the keeper.

Droitwich then camped in their defensive half and for 20 minutes frustrated Malvern but constant pressure paid off and all seven goals were scored before half time through Emily Prosser (4), Natalie Holmes (2), Stacie Doyle (1).

Malvern took their foot off the pedal in the second half but still went close through Emily Prosser and Stacie Doyle but the Droitwich keeper saved well.

Droitwich scored a consolation goal mid-way through from a quick breakaway.

Malvern Ladies are at home on Sunday (November 14) versus Phoenix Ladies at Langland Stadium, 2pm kick-off. All spectators welcome.
