SOUTH Worcestershire Police have warned the public to be on the lookout for offers of stolen property after electrical goods, furniture and jewellery worth approximately £8,000 were taken from an address in Droitwich Road, Torton, near Hartlebury.
Computers, a camera, desk, jewellery and a watch were stolen between 5pm and 9.05pm on Saturday in the village.
A police spokesman said: "It is highly likely that some - if not all - of the stolen items will be offered for sale, to individuals, to second-hand shops, in newspaper small ads or at car boot sales.
Cautious
"We urge the public to be very cautious in what they buy from non-recognised sources and to report anything they are wary about to the police as soon as their suspicions are aroused."
He added the property included an Apple desktop computer and mouse, and a laptop computer of the same make, an Epson printer, Harmon Kardon speakers, a Brother printer/scanner/fax, a Canon scanner, and Firelite and Lacie hard-drives.
