This week, there are a few 'dates for your diary'. Tomorrow (Saturday), there is Kids Klobber 10am for sellers and 11am for buyers, coffee and homemade cakes available. All proceeds to St James' Church. On December 4, there is the grand Christmas Kids Klobber draw - 50p per ticket. If you haven't got yours, ring Mary Purser on 01684-310289.
November 17 sees the Welland Brownies mini-charities fayre, 6.30pm to 7.30pm, cakes, games, stalls, raffle and refreshments
Saturday, November 20, 1pm-5pm, sees the Anthony Leahy annual exhibition - original paintings, prints and cards etc. Admission is free, but remember they make a great Christmas present!
Last Thursday saw the opening of the 'undercroft' at St James', a project for the younger members of the community (designed and carried out by them). The evening was a great success and I feel that the project will be appreciated by both the young and the older members of our village now and in the future.
