MEMBERS of Staunton & Corse Guides, as part of a national challenge, had to tell other people about what they do and here are some of the things they do which makes interesting reading.

They make friends, new friends, of different ages and backgrounds and schools and are aged between 10 and 15 years. Guides, they say, is all about working together and thinking of each other, they make a promise when they join the Guides to help and think about other people. They do challenges and surprise themselves with what they learn to do. Sometimes they do things in patrols, that is, small groups and have great fun at the same time learning lots of skills and learning to make more about the world around them. Staunton & Corse group is a very happy group led by a very enthusiastic leader Holly Chapman. How good it is to know we have such a strong group in our villages.
