LAST week's line dancing evening at the parish hall attracted several new members. You may join the group at any point during the term. They meet again this evening (Friday) at 7.30pm but there is no dancing session on November 19. The next meeting will be on Friday, November 26 at 7.30pm in the parish hall.

Tomorrow (Saturday), Arts Alive bring North Country Theatre to Bosbury. Over the years audiences have been wonderfully entertained by this professional theatre group and local support for this year's production would be appreciated. The Confessions of Brother Wormwood is the tale of the brothers of St Adelbert's gathered around their old infirmerer to administer the last rites. As the death bell tolls from the tower, Brother Wormwood has something to get off his chest before he meets his maker.

The tale he tells of forbidden love, Faustian pacts, miracles and murder makes their blood run cold and guarantees you a gripping evening of live theatre - on your doorstep! The performance is at Bosbury Parish Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets on (01531) 640415 or on the door.

Tickets are still available for the Parish Hall 100 Club, please contact Gill Andrews on (01531) 640419, £10 for the year. The lucky winners in October were £20 W M Clutterbuck, £10 E Sinker, £5 P Thomas, £5 O E Clutterbuck, £5 E C Clutterbuck. The parish hall committee is grateful for your support.

At Holy Trinity Bosbury on Sunday, parish communion and act of remembrance will be at 9.45am. On November 21, holy communion is at 8am and children's church at 10am. Bosbury church choir has recently welcomed some new choristers and rehearsals for our Christmas services are now underway. Choir mistress Esther Kay would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to join the choir from 7-70 years! Enthusiasm is all that is required.

Advent Sunday will be celebrated with a Taize service at 6.30pm. The candlelit service will be quiet and meditative with readings, prayers and silences. Bosbury church choir together with solo instrumentalists will be leading the music.
