Fairfield Villa 2, Littleton 5
AFTER three blank Saturdays, Littleton returned to action and moved into the last eight of the WFA Junior Cup.
On a very heavy pitch, the visitors dominated play from the start but the opening goal on 15 minutes came from the home side when Witsey's cross left Daley with a simple finish.
Littleton were level within five minutes when Simon Brain's corner was headed on by Paul Jones for Matthew Edwards to strike a 20-yarder into the net.
Five minutes later it was 2-1 when a pass from Stephen Brown put Jones through and he made no mistake from 18 yards.
This was quickly followed by the best goal of the game when Philip Haines ran all of 60 yards and, after beating four defenders, slotted the ball past the keeper.
Fairfield pulled one back when a poor ball out of defence presented Witsey with an easy chance.
There was still time for a fourth from Littleton before the break when Danny Malins picked up a loose ball and calmly converted.
Littleton increased their lead early in the second half when a downward header from Jon Gregory found Jones and he made no mistake from close-range.
Undefeated Littleton will be hoping to play their first league game since October 2 on Saturday when they entertain Loughborough (2pm).
