Police have appealed for information following the incident, which happened on Saturday.
The victim suffered serious head injuries but was allowed home on Monday after his treatment at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
An ambulance was called at 3.30am on the morning of the incident, after the 34-year-old man was found on the bridge, with cuts to his face and the back of his head.
