KIDDERMINSTER co-ntinued their good run of results with a comprehensive 9-4 victory over Bloxwich.

The second also came from a penalty corner, this time Paul Edwards roofed a deflection.

Richard Wheeler was their third scorer, beating three players and rifling in from 12 yards.

Kidderminster see-med to ease off, paying the price as Bloxwich scored twice.

The second half belo-nged to Kidder-minster, though Bloxwich scored twice.

Top scorer Matt Edw-ards had to wait until the second half to score and he did it in style with a hat-trick, the final goal coming with the last touch of the game from a penalty corner.

Pocknell added a second goal, Ajay Sandhu scored and Chris Bat-tle, who suffered a harsh temporary suspension, rapped in a powerful strike.

They are third, one point behind Old Halesonians, who they visit on Saturday, as the race for the two promotion spots hots up with Wednesbury still top.

A 2-2 draw with West Brom was a fair result for Kidderm-inster thirds who were good in parts and poor in others.

First half goals from Tom Roberts and Norman Lamb put them in the driving seat but they allowed the visitors back in it.

They host Kingswinford at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Kidderminster fourths enjoyed their first win of the season, beating Old Wulfrunians 3-2 in a Fathoms Non-League hockey fixture.

A Mike Wakenshaw double and a Stewart Greaves strike secured victory in a game that included some great goalkeeping from Ja-mie Knott.

Kidderminster Veterans were left ruing their failure to kill off Droitwich after drawing 4-4 despite opening up a 3-0 lead.

Two goals from Darren Jackson and one from Simon Burkes put them in the driving seat but after a Droitwich revival in took a late Phil Williams equaliser to snatch a draw.
