WALKING back to healthiness is the aim behind a venture which sets off from Tenbury swimming pool next week.
The event is the town's contribution to the nationwide Walking the Way to Health initiative, run by the British Heart Foundation and the Countryside Commission.
The walk, organised by South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust, Tenbury Ramblers' Association, Tenbury Leisure Services and Malvern Hills District Council, is aimed at helping those who do little or no exercise to step out and boost their own health and wellbeing.
It is split into two parts, each no longer than half a mile and is due to lead off at 10.30am, next Tuesday.
Comfortable shoes are recommended and upon completion, walkers can relax over coffee or tea in the Scout hut.
