NATIONAL champions Bromsgrove Indoor Bowls Club comfortably overcame Welford-on-Avon on Sunday.
Victories for Steve Parker, Neil Smith, Adie Burbidge,Nick Aubury and Neil Brereton ensured a 16 point win in the Wessex League.
England international Mel Briggs was on hand to help one of the Swindon club's beat Bromsgrove 81-72 in the Denny Cup.
Briggs, who was knocked out of the BUPA Care Homes tournament earlier in the week, defeated Bromsgrove's John Reid 31-14.
Steve Parker lost to Jeff Jeffries 21-7, Tony Hall drew 21-21 with Neil Hode, while Neil Brereton defeated Neil Smith 21-7.
