A CHANCE meeting with a popular American singer-songwriter led to a Woodrow man launching his own guitar-making business.
Paul Hancox and his wife Linda met Christene LeDoux when she was on tour, supporting Brian Kennedy in Wolverhampton.
IT worker Mr Hancox had taken a piece of guitar with him for Brian Kennedy to sign and it prompted a conversation with Ms LeDoux.
The guitar fanatic said: "Christene asked me if I made parts for guitars and said she was looking for someone to make a guitar for her. She then asked if I would make her a guitar."
Mr Hancox agreed to the challenge and made the guitar named Little Pumpkin after Ms LeDoux's record label.
"With Christene's push I built my first guitar and then after building a couple more I formed my own company," he added.
