After what seems like years of hibernation, Travis have elapsed from their dormant state with a bang.
Hugely popular in the late 90s with hits like Why does it always Rain on Me, Turn and Writing to Reach You, it seemed they could do no wrong.
Although not a particularly innovative band, they became the darlings of the music world and could be heard blasting from university campuses all over Britain.
But taking time out to write a new album proved devastating to Travis' popularity, as Coldplay, and much later, Keane, came along and stole that coveted niche in the indie pop market.
Singles does a good job of reminding us why the band has been so commercially successful.
With new single Walking in the Sun, Travis have stuck to the same radio-friendly, laid-back, acoustic rock that has been extremely good to them over the years, and why not?
It's nice to see them back on the music scene and I'm sure Travis will be welcomed with open arms.
