FREDERICK Crook, of Clarke's Yard, and Albert Cash, of Edward Street, Redditch, were charged with throwing stones in Bromsgrove Road, to the annoyance of passengers.
Pc Milne stated he was in company with Pc Eyes when his attention was drawn to one of the defendants, who was using obscene language, near the corner of the Queen's Head Public House.
Afterwards, he saw Crook throwing two stones at a man who was walking up on the other side of the road, whilst Cash threw one.
They were in the act of picking up more stones when someone drew their attention to the fact that witness and the other policeman were close to them.
Cash gave wrong name and address.
Both defendants were fined 8s 6d costs.
