STUDENTS from a town school have been helping younger pupils get to grips with work, reading and information technology.
Every Wednesday, a group of pupils from North Bromsgrove High pay a visit to Tardebigge First School, in Church Lane, to assist the children and offer support and advice with their work.
The 14 sixth-form students, who are either doing their Duke of Edinburgh Award or just want to help, join in with lessons for an hour and a half.
The visit is made possible thanks to funding from the Millennium Volunteers scheme.
Suzan Helps, headteacher at Tardebigge, said: "The pupils from North Bromsgrove are enthusiastic, smart, professional and a big help. They also make a huge difference."
