SHAUN Cunnington was today pursuing options to bring in a new goalkeeper for Kidderminster Harriers' FA Cup first round test at Port Vale on Friday.
With loan signing Ben Foster recalled by Vale's arch rivals Stoke due to an injury crisis, Cunnington is not keen on throwing rookie Danny Lewis into the lion's den for his debut.
So Harriers' caretaker boss hopes to bring in another 'keeper before Friday's noon deadline.
Foster, 21, had only played in the defeats to Shrewsbury and Boston.
Meanwhile, Harriers are believed to be able to play all of their other loan signings against Vale.
Portsmouth's Shaun Cooper and James Keene and Chester's Darryn Stamp are all at the club on a temporary basis to ease their injury troubles.
Meanwhile, Harriers lost 2-0 at Milton Keynes Dons in the FA Youth Cup first round last night.
