WHEN I pay my fee into the car park machine in Bromsgrove I have a contract to purchase a set time for a set fee. Any unexpired time given to a person as a gift does not raise additional revenue except by selling the unexpired time again.

The recipient is still liable to fines if they exceed the time left. The head of engineering says he is going to put in machines to stop this gifting and sell the time again and justifies this with platitudes like - 'its done in Droitwich, it will make it fairer'.

He further states that it will cost £10,000 to install but would raise a further £25,000 but was not sure but might recoup the cost by April.

When will the council decide to tell him that business plans like that are not acceptable from an employee and fire him?

I expect policies based on controlling our lives and envy to come from Labour and not Conservatives but these weaklings make me, a true Tory , weep
